Good news and bad for my pico. First good news. All 5 of the sexy shrimp and the porcelain crab seem to be doing great. I caught a glimpse of the bigger of the 3 upside down gobies this evening and he seems to have claimed the rock on the right with zoas. Bad is i still haven't seen the two smaller ones. More bad is that with the help of my chosen family members on #Smorgasbord we the growth of Bryopsis algea. Good news is hopefully we caught it in time before it becomes a bad problem and I cleaned out what I could and treated with reflux for any i couldn't see. More bad is I lost one of my RFA's and I think when it died today it messed with the others Brevard they are not happy this evening. Good is after a water change they are now looking slightly happier.

I wish I could find the little bodies so at least I could get a refund but they were so tiny I'm sure the cuc made quick work of them.

Hang in there, they might show up yet. I’ve been on here for quite some time and I have seen probably a hundred posts where someone introduces new fish and not see them for days, weeks and even a month and then end up showing up.

I sure hope you are right and they do. I know it's all part of reef keeping but losing $90 is not fun.

I wouldn't give up on the gobies yet. Trimmas are a lot like their bigger brethren in that it takes very little to frighten them and they can stay hidden for days, even a week or more.

OMG ( that’s on my goat for you older reefers), don’t start with numbers. I can’t imagine the dollar amount that would add up with over 20 years of losses.

I seen a meme earlier that said if you weren't an equestrian what would you be? My first thought was a lot richer the same could apply to being a reef keeper. ROFL

Did the weekly water change on the pico and decided to move part of the rocks so i could clean the glass easier. I'm really glad I because I seen two of the elusive down gobies at the same time so now I know at least two of the three are still alive. They of course hid faster than I could get my camera but then later one came back out and I managed to get a quick picture.

Gorgeous Amanda, I see your porcelain crab found your rfa. I came home and mine was in my yellow one but I can’t get a good picture at the angle I need to get a picture.

Been a while since I posted picture updates so I got a few this morning. The RFAs still haven't decided where they are happy and seem to move every few days or so. The upside-down gobies are doing well and growing but are very shy which I guess I would be as well if I was as small as they are. I really love the blue microalgea the pictures really do not do its lovely deep blue color justice.
