I have a Canon Rebel XS. I was wondering if it is a ok camera a good one or poor. It will be used for reef pictures. Also can someone suggest a macro lens? Thanks

Frank that camera will do a great job for reef photos. I recommend the Tamron 90mm f/2.8 or the Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens.
