To be honest I think the reef breeders work great, kessil is the same but I had to move corals around with the kessil.

How many are you gonna need to light it? I haven't owned either so can't really speak from experience.

3 for each section, the kessils are more like a spotlight which steers me away.

Woohoo! Haha. Why not just use t5s if you don't want a spot light? I've never used them but they look good and seem to promote good growth.

Very true, but the reef breeders that are setup on my friends gigantic frag setup spread throughout the entire setup and have awesome growth. It's most likely between those or t5's

I've never seen the reef breeders. I'll have to Google them

They are pretty good lights. Nobody will drill my tank for me and I don't want to crack it......so.....went with this. Eshopps 1200gph.

Yeah I checked them out. I was looking at the cheaper ones though. That's to bad, the first time I tried drilling glass I was successful. I've never done a tank though. Your lfs won't do it?

Nah they don't offer it. Everything else they offer though. Oh well, not a big deal I'll just put it in the middle of the tank and black the back out.
