I went through but I don't remember seeing if you are running a skimmer. Are you? I feel my friends issues have to due with inadequate nutrient export.

Got a little eshopps nano in the back. Really does good work.
What filtration is he running in the back?

Not positive yet. He has only sent me pictures. He always comes over to my house to pick up corals. I believe a carbon cartrage and sponge filters. I’m going over in about a week to help him out.

Hopefully he doesnt have any bio balls in there haha.
I just run crushed live rock in the back with some carbon.
Oh and biocube had a recall on their filters and there hasn't been a reason as to why......so keep that in mind.

I did some custom work on my skimmer. It comes with the pump mounted on the side. So I bought some tubing to run from the pump and for the venturi then i was able to slide it into the overflow section.
