I picked this up as a random rock with some polyps on it about a year ago, the guy I got it from said it had some zoas on it... The full story is here:

I'm thinking some sort of Monti, probably encrusting. The base is a weird green with nice bright blue polyps:

That looks an awful lot like lantana montipora. I realize you’ll google it and see a lot of branching pictures. It will encrust a ton before it branches though. Mine has anyway. It’s encrusted probably a 4” diameter area without sprouting a branch yet

Haha, yeah I have some digis that have done that. So far no indication of branching, but the growth has just taken off over the last six weeks. Thanks!

I’ve got one called an appleberry montipora that is green with blue polyps.
