Can anyone tell me if the Nano Max has tempered back glass?

As the title says, I am looking for advice on the back glass before drilling. I realize this will void the warranty, which is something I'm not concerned with.

I am just looking to remove all internal filtration and run down to a sump.

Why not simply email Red Sea support and ask the question?
