To be fair though, it's an international forum. English isn't a lot of people's first language, and there's a lot of variations from Americanized English to proper English. The debate on a lot of these could be very dependant on where you are.

True but I think that’s not the issue. My own family does this. I don’t say anything because nobody likes that guy. I just wanted to vent a bit. My apologies. Not trying to start a grammar war.
