I got this frogspawn a few weeks ago at the reefapalooza along with some hammers. Both hammers are doing fine minus the frogspawn. All my parameters are in check besides my nitrates and phosphates that have since been corrected and monitored. Wanted to see the community's opinion to see if this thing can make a comeback or is it far too gone

salinity 1.026
Ph 8.3
Cal 450
Mag 1450
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 5-10 api
Phosphates 0 (I think api only shows .25 but I dosed phosphates to get a .02ppm reading)
Par 100+\-
Flow-very light a slight pulse

Thanks in advance!

Just to eliminate the possibility, I would move the frogspawn away from the other corals. I know the common consensus is that they can touch without harm, but I do have experience of letting them touch, and my frogspawn killed the 2 hammer heads it was touching. I move the hammer away and the 2 dead heads are now growing new buds, so who knows? Again, its probably nothing, but just to remove the tiny chance, I would move it a few inches away and see if that helps.

Great idea I’m gonna give that a try. With my first set of hammers I did see sweepers come out of it so one of the two from the left or right could be stinging it. I’m gonna do a iodine dip along with a reef rx dip spread over two days. Let see how it goes I’ll keep you guys updated
