Nothing explains what this means. I've tried two different windows machines. Doser never shows up. I tried AUTO and COM3 as suggested in comments of other threads. No go.

I tried 3 other usb cables and no go. Went back to the original cord and it suddenly worked. Is this normal? Is the USB it comes with something other than standard USB?

Hit or miss. I’ve noticed GHL products are very specific in how things are supposed to be. Any deviation and you’ll encounter problems.

I don't think I was paying close enough attention to the COM. Apparently if you unplug and plug back in, Windows can switch the number.
