So i recently recieved new fish and 2 of them seemed to have a bit white parasitic looking things on their body, expected it to be flukes and it seemed it was since after the first full dose of praziquantel there was no more spots ( might've been neobenedenia ) but does praziquantel kill snails? Just a day after praziquantel and it seems the snails fell off and one seemed to have died, could it have affected my brittle star aswell?

Not if it was dosed at 2.2ppm with good aeration. That dose is considered "reef safe" even for corals and feather dusters.

Không, nếu nó được dùng ở mức 2,2ppm với sục khí tốt. Liều đó được coi là "reef an toàn" ngay cả đối với san hô và bụi lông.
Sorry but can you clarify about 2.2ppm? Something like xxmg/gallon or xxmg/yyg feed...? Any unit of measurement.

The formula to calculate ppm (using English measurements) is this:

X ppm x Y gallons / 264 = Z grams of medication
(Since a milliliter of most liquids weighs one gram, volume can often be used interchangeably.)

Sample: You need to dose a tank that holds 25 gallons of water with formalin at 75 parts per million. How much do you add?
25 x 75 = 1875
1875 ÷ 264 = 7.102 ml of formalin.

Thank you very much. Since praziquantel (droncit) is not available in Vietnam, can I use this instead? Is there any change in dosage?

Also, my foxface, he's been eating a lot these past (Roated Seaweed) few days but not getting fat. I'm thinking maybe he has a gut problem? I just got him from the local shop about 3 weeks ago

Those distocide pills have a film coating and probably have binders in them. I don’t know if they would be safe to use, but to do so, you would have to weigh a pill and compare that to the listed 600 mg of active ingredient. All doses would then have to be proportionally adjusted.

Are you feeding the foxface any other foods? Nori seaweed is not very high in fats, the foxface needs that from other sources like mysid shrimp, pellets, other meaty foods.

Thank you very much, I will give him pellets. If nothing better I will use Prazi for him
