Can someone help identify this?

A friend of mine gave me this, after i gifted her an acro frag stick that i accidentally broke off while moving some things around in my tank. i've never kept softies before, and have no idea what this is. Neither did she. lol...
Anyhoo, can you help me with this???

Yea do you have other picks? The polyps almost look like goniopora. But the formation is not right.

The pic may be a little misleading, since it's up so close. That coral is real tiny... about the size of a fingernail. My friend said it was some kind of softie tree coral, but i've never seen one like it.

Looks like a short stem goniopora but hard to confirm closed up

Maybe Litophyton arboreum aka broccoli coral? Hard to tell but they look treeish.

Someone on another forum said it was a pineapple tree that just hasn't opened up yet, and sent me a picture of one.
i don't see it though. i don't really like having things in my tank that i can't identify. lol
