Can someone help with: Anemone splitting?

Do all anemones split? How big do they have to be to split?

There are 2 hosting anemones that split -- E. quadricolor (( BTA )) and H. magnifica.

Size isn't always a determining factor for them to split.

My new E. quadricolor just split, it wasn't in a good spot for pictures. I used to have a bunch of pictures of different ones spliting, but I don't have that computer any longer - sorry.

But, they will (( generally )) just pull themselves apart -- at the center. I watched one fully split in a matter of minutes.

disenfect scissors and cut down the middle...I place mine in an acrylic container with holes in it, and they heal in about a week
