So we were at our local fish store last night, always a dangerous thing to do, and the owner gave us a snail. The only problem is that we don’t know what kind of snail it is. The owner wasn’t really sure either, said was a conch but not sure what kind of conch. So any help would be amazing.

From what I can tell it looks to be just a regular Nassarius snail. Good sand stirrer. Will stay buried most of the time and come out when you put food in the tank. @DSC reef @Lovemyreef2015 Thoughts?

Awesome thanks every one. I was thinking nassarious, but I didn’t think they got all that big. This thing is a solid 1 inch to 1.5 inches long. So my wife was telling me it was a conch of some type. So I will just tell her you all said I was right! LOL.... wait, maybe that’s a bad idea.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
