What kind of fish is this? I really like it and
I’m failing at googling and I know someone can tell me In 3 seconds here.
Thanks!

I got one from Biota. It came basically microscopic— so make sure you have suitably small food. Lol. It was rather shy the whole time; liked the bottom half of the tank. Hope this helps.

Definitely a Koumansetta rainfordi, it’s “close” relatives are Koumansetta hectori and Koumansetta hoesi.
Rainford’s are heavy sandsifters whereas Hectori are a mix between sand and rock control for algae. Both will devour most algaes however rainfordi has a bit more care as it will quite possibly drain life out of the sand bed in a matter of time unless you seed your tank Atleast once a week with pods.
Here’s my Hectori.
