Lol they don’t mind purigen. That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Maybe your lfs was referring to chemiclean? Or flu rx? I have two bags in my 45 gallon ;Hilarious Indo torch, indo Hammer, Indo frogspawn, and a Duncan that has gone from 3 heads to 8 in the past 2 months.

How do you regenerate your purigen and also how often do you change it out?

Once every 6 months. It says how to clean it on the back of the bag. I’m pretty sure it says to soak it in peroxide to clean it.

Okay I’ve been using about a half a bag in my 20 gallon. I had to purchase a special type of bag to use the purigen. Would you say I should use a whole bag or half or less?

Slow down a bit. You're reacting to quickly to situations in your tank that aren't that bad. I don't think your hammer looks bad. Keep things simple. Don't try to chase numbers, better yet, keep them consistent.

Had the lights just come on when you took the pic? My euphyllia deflate and look awful as soon as the lights come on. An hour later and they look better than ever.

Mine do the same everyday. The lights coming on in the morning kindof shocks them a tad I think . Then they wake up

What are you talking about? Yours didn’t come in a bag or did you buy the jar? I buy the ones pre packaged. I have two bags in my tank. They’re both about 3/4 full as they come from seachem.

Yes the mouth has been open like that for almost a week now. And the tentacles haven’t been extending

You could try an iodide dip as well. I’ve used Kent Marine Lugol’s on torches which seemed to help.

Get the Hannah checker and go from there. If it’s high, yes some gfo will help
