Yeah I can, and have experience diying sumps in the past, although time and patience isn't what it used to be, so thinking of just getting that eshopps nano sump. I have been eyeballing it for a while now.

That’s why to get the water into the filter sock the sump will usually have a pipe like that for you to connect a hose from a overflow box.. some sumps have 3 or 2 depending the gallons

Not what that pipe is meant for, it's an outlet for a proprietary skimmer.

It’s not like how mine is? Because the guy who posted it on another page said he had some modifications done to his baffles…
