Can these hanging wire thingies be adjusted?

Seems like it's only possible to move the wire in one direction.

Unfortunately the other end is crimped so I was hoping the up/down adjustment could be made here.

Don't know where yours came from, but mine adjust both ways...

Push the small bit with the wire coming out of it into the larger bit, and it should let go of the cable, allowing you to lengthen it. Just pulling on the loose end will shorten it.

yeah. You gotta pull down on the little nozzle-part that the wire first goes through, and pull the wire at the same time

Yep, push the one piece that has a spring in it in. Should go both ways. Don't do it with the light hanging!

Yes - you can do it:). You will do it:). You are strong...... Just dont have tension on the wire when you try to do it:). as others have said
