a bad weld is a bad weld. trying to fix it is not an optimal or guaranteed solution. further messing with it will most likely compromise the integrity of the seam, making it more susceptible to failure down the road.
I am aware like I mentioned structurally it won't be trouble making the seam watertight I was just throwing this out there to see if anyone had ever had this issue and come up with a solution. I agree the more I mess with the tank the worst so in the end the best thing to do is likely leave it alone, but it's a single weld with some air bubbles in it, making it watertight isn't especially difficult, that's why I wouldn't just throw the whole project out. I'd be throwing away 1 36 x 24 colored panel, 1 18x36 clear and 2 18x24s. 1/4. And ⅝ cast acrylic sheets. That's not too cheap. I could salvage pieces but that would be tedious based on what I have put together .rn
