I know it is some sort of Xenia, but it’s was sold as pulsing Xenia, which it is not. It is already growing like crazy. I think it might become a problem.

Xenia is just a type of clove polyp, which is what we are looking at..what 'type' of clove is generally irrelevant other than personal satisfaction of what you want to brag about inside of your tank and the fact that Xenia pulse where others do not.. They are all similarly related and will similarly grow like an invasive weed if unchecked.
