GuyWalker, Sorry to hear of your Wife's passing. I think that is awesome getting that tank in there for the Chemo Patients to look at. I have been one of those sitting in a chair taking my poison, because I am only 40 and my Wife and Kids want me around a bit longer. I have been off chemo and controlling my cancer with natural supplements. Good for now but always a chance of getting bigger. It is like a roller coaster and I am along for the ride. Anyway I remember sitting in my chair feeling that chemo taking hold (yes I could feel it) and thinking here we go 3-4 hours with nothing to do but sit and take this garbage.
How nice it would have been to stare at a beautiful Saltwater tank and just drift away in thought, forgetting if even for a moment, of the dread and misery being pumped into your body. To relax and smile at the beauty within. To imagine the smells and sounds and sights. To look into that tank and be set Free. To be free from that bag of evil, from the evil within, causing so much misery. To be Free, To be Free, To be Free!
I have been there, done that and it would have be great to have had that in my chemo lounge, to escape. Sorry, it is a passionate subject for me and sometimes I have to get it out.
