So I got a candy cane coral a couple weeks ago and it seems to be losing a little bit of flesh and slimming. I don’t have much experience with them but they still look open and sometimes have their mouths open so im assuming they’re healthy and eating?
I test my water weekly just did a water change yesterday and everything looks good.
My sps and inverts look good and all other corals. The coral is placed on a frag rack with lowest light possible and low amount of flow

We really need a full set of water parameters, especially if it’s sliming up it maybe doesn’t like something

If your other corals are doing well, I would place the candy cane in a lower flow and low to mid light area and let it be. I don’t think you can do much else. Make sure it’s far enough from other corals that it doesn’t get stung at night by sweepers. Also, keep an eye out for coral nibblers.
