I made a thread the other day my goby kept laying in the mouth of my candy cane and made it pretty upset showed a lot of skeleton now and I’m not sure if it’s cause of the goby or if it’s a new head that’s growing

Likely from goby causing stress.
goid water quality, feeding and moderate light should nurse it back

I thought so. Can you tell if there’s another head growing in one of the pictures ? I know it’s hard to tell with the pictures I got a low setting of blue with the prime 16HD or the pirates schedule is what I use so lighting should be okay. Alk ca is in good condition The goby definitely messed him up cause they where looking really nice before he laid in them

Looks like another head to me

I have a goby that lays on my candy cane all the time. As far as I can tell it has not harmed the coral. The bottom photo is the same candy cane a couple of years later. The fish still hangs out with that coral even thouh it has been moved since the first photo.
