Please can someone tell me what's going on with my candy cane got home today to see it's split into 2 small pieces.

Noticeable difference in pictures.

It is dying. If that is all the flesh that is remaining, that's not good. It looks like it had a full head on the very last picture and now, it's two fragments.

Running a canister filter with 3 additional sponge filters.
