I have candy cane coral that was doing pretty good till few days ago. I moved it on the center of the tank right in the middle in terms of elevation where it get plenty of light and some wave too. I noticed it hasn't blown up like it used to and it doen't have the same crispness in color like it used. More so than anything it looks limp. All other corals are doing fine and the water parameter i checked few days ago was perfect. Nitrate around 5 and all other exactly as its supposed to be.

Candy Canes prefer lower light and low to medium flow. Sounds to me as if yours is getting to much. Try lowering it to the sand bed.
I've had mine for 5yrs in a back corner underneath my intake pump :) she loves it there! Just got done fragging her from about 60 heads to 30.
