Canister filter not working

I have the Marineland magiflow 360 gph filter and it’s not working. What’s wrong is that it’s not pumping water even when it’s primed. At first the put out was just tiny now there’s no out put at all. I am pretty good with taking things apart, I build computers and work on my bike and when I took this apart it didn’t seems clog and the propeller was fine. I don’t know what’s wrong. Anyone have experience with the filter?

Assure when plugged in, you here a hum which indicates current to the magnet
Is magnet scored or smooth?
Try filling canister and lay it down and see if it try to discharge water

That filter is trash, I had one and it did the same thing, my suggestion throw it away and get something else, I spent three months arguing with Marineland trying to get them to replace my filter and when I finally got to Send me a replacement that one didn’t work either

I know that is trash lol. That’s what I’ll do eventually but I don’t have enough money right now.
