Can't get anywhere with the reefbreeders app

New lights or used? The new app or the older reef nexus app? Asking because I recently saw a post where someone purchased a used photon and it would not connect to the new app. Reef breeders had them instal the old app and they connected. I don't know the details as I'm still on the old app but there is a migration process that has to be performed before using the new app on photons.

Maybe reach out Reef breeders via theirs website contact form. Everything I've read says they are very responsive and helpful. One post a member said Logan the owner or one of the owners worked him through things over the phone on a Sunday.

EDIT: found the thread I was referencing.

I spoke to customer service and I pretty much decided to cancel the light upgrade and return the lights. I have to Prime 16 HDS and four vho bulbs on a small reef tank already The Reef breeders were going to be Overkill. I guess I was just looking for that extra little bit of Pop, and it was enamored with the reef breeders lights. But I really like the AI app. I ordered some new lenses for the primes and I'm going to increase my lights by a couple of percent as well. They're only running at about 65% full power for about 2 hours a day. I have some room to spare. Thank you for your response
