I bought a two little fishes kalk reactor. The sprinkler head doesn't spin and the stem gets tweaked to the side when the pump turns on. I got it working but it only worked for a day, then back to the same thing. I'm wondering if I should shorten the stem. Or if my pump is too strong I can put a ball valve on the line to slow it down. I'm not sure about this reactor!

You probably have too much kalk in the reactor causing it to more or less solidify in the bottom between stirrings. Pictures would probably help in this case.

I only have 1/2 the amount they told me to put in it. I don't think thats the problem. I have a feeling the down tube is to long. This reactor is a cheap point of sale! I guess thats why it was 1/4 the price of all the other ones.
