What do y’all suggest? We used to run a feed pump with drip method but we just got a carbon doser and kamoer.

I’ve been told you can get the bubble count so precise it’ll maintain the ph in the reactor so stable you don’t need to turn it on and off. Not sure I trust that. I ran my solenoid on the apex and had it on and off at certain parameters.

What do y’all recommend?

I am running my kamoer at 30 ml/min and 6.55PH controlled by the apex if it gets below 6.45. but it never does because its tuned with around 1.08 bubbles/second.
You can tune your calcium reactor to not go below a certain value by adjusting the bubble rate of CO2 and keep all other variables constant.
I did a write up on this a week or so ago. Ill link you to it.

And by the way, your ph will swing a little bit inside the reactor. I would advise you to not chase PH so hard with a controller. Let the CO2 do its job at the suggested bubble rate and you will get a fairly consistent output to the tank in terms of how much cal mag and alk..

Thanks so much for the response. Gonna read that write up! Having trouble on another end. I have a dannerle check valve and unless I set the psi to anywhere from 12-15 I’m not really getting bubbles. And when I do, it’s inconsistent because of the increased pressure I presume.

Have no idea what to do to fix it. I know some people run the doser at 5-6psi.

I dont have a psi gauge in line so idk what psi im running... I would assume you dont want to go above 20psi higher than atmospheric. Depending on the acrylic chamber... you could have a blowout.
Im no expert but I would just dial it in to a bubble or so per second and not worry about the pressure... it will just get relieved on the other end depending on your setup that is.
