what's the benifits to carbon gfo reactors I'm still new to reef tanks I run carbon in a media bag and filter floss in my sump with a fuge
Tank set up 60 cube mainly lps since sps don't seem to grow for me m7 return to wp10 wavemaker skimmer is down right now pump died looking for new pump it a reef Oct nwb 200 with otp3000 pump 2 Chinese black box lights 165w 10 in off water

You will get better contact with the water when carbon is in a reactor vs. using a media bag......you can control the flow with a reactor, something you can't do with a bag.
