So my tank is getting a big cloudy...

I have a phosban reactor that I can fill with carbon and have it running for about a week but don’t want the hassle of plugging in more things and just having more equipment in my sump; could I achieve (not the same) but effective results with just removing one of the four filter socks and running carbon in a media bag inside a filter cup?

Don’t want to sound lazy just don’t see the use of having a reactor in my sump for one week when I’ll only use about once a month

It sure will. I find that the same amount of carbon works better in a reactor that's all.

Gotcha! Ok awesome thank you so much for your help

Sounds like I was just looking for the answer I wanted but I had to visit the doctors and have to rest my legs so filter cup it is.... less work for me
