I’m currently running carbon in my tank in a media bag.

I’ve got an old DI canister that I’m thinking about filling with carbon. I’ve never run any reactors, would there be anything wrong with this? And are there any inexpensive pumps I can use to run this effectively?

I think a DI chamber would work as long as you can figure out how to connect a pump to it.

Short answer, “No it will be fine”. If you called BRS they would sell you five dollars in fittings and make it into a proper carbon tractor with larger hose going in and out. That was my old favorite reactor.

I happen to recently make a video don’t know if it helps.
