Carpet anemone

My newly purchased carpet anemone is expanding itself all the way no gaping mouth but is this normal behavior

What type of carpet Haddoni or Gigantea? Please post image if able, and how newly purchased specifically?

Yes, carpets can get huge! But if you can get a clown to host them they they are awesome to watch together. Just be careful adding other corals as they are anemones and can move on you. If they do they might take out some of your corals

yes that is normal. Mine haddoni was much smaller (6") until it fully acclimated. Now it's bigger than 12".
