I am looking to reQT and go fallow on my reef for ich. I run a UV sterilizer and have been managing it for two year very successfully but I am wanting to add a powder blue and would prefer to not have to manage ich on one. However, I think catching my Melanurus wrasse is going to be an extreme challenge, the guy is scared of his own shadow. Any tips on catching one? The other fish in my tank I think I can just net.

Easiest way is to see where it burrows in the sand at night to sleep and then scoop him up from there. Has always worked for me with these types of wrasse.

You just scoop him out with your hand or sift him out with a net?
