So had a few peppermint shrimp come in with my TBS package. Haven’t seen them in months so figured something snatched them up. Until I looked in my sump. Nice big peppermint shrimp just staring at me.

Any thoughts on how to catch it? Would like to put it in my main tank if possible.

If You Have A Refugium, I Would Just Keep Him In There. Other Than That, The Way I Have Had Luck Catching Shrimp And Crabs Is By Getting a plastic tweezer and letting it grab onto this, and then dropping it into the main tank, or you can possibly try grabbing it with your hands and do it this way.

It’s in the refugium currently. I’m fine if it has to stay in there but if I can get it out I would prefer it in the main display is all. I have some tweezers, I’ll see if it would grab them and not just sprint away

I’ve found if I drop a small glass with a few pellets to the bottom the Refugium, they will typically crawl right in after a couple minutes. You can then remove the glass/shrimp and drop them into the main tank. Best of luck!
