Cats and reefing. Frustrating?

You guys gotta understand, my cats work like Pinky and the Brain. One comes up with the idea, the other executes. So when I see cats staring into the sweet royal blue, I get a kick out of it. My cats are plotting my tanks demise while everyone else has the inquisitive cats! I'm kind of jealous.

This is Thorn, who was recently put on a diet...as I swear he's gained 5 pounds since we got the kitten. Limited him to only three cans a day and all the dry he wants and THIS is the look I get.

This is Radagast, a rescue we found when he was about two weeks old. Was way under weight, had fleas, worms nasty stuff doing much better now :)

Demanding, is an understatement. However, they try to communicate their needs for me. I can usually ask what it is they want and either one will walk me to it. These two are litter mates. Brother and Sister. Usually where the brother goes, sister follows. That said, the girl likes water more than the boy. Niether one seems interested in the tanks. Only time they show interest is when company is over, and their last resort to getting my attention, is acting like the fish are interesting. Other than that, 'they are more important' ;)

I've had freshwater tanks for 4 years with these two. They never seemed so jealous with them as they are with the salt. I guess they see my interest in salt more so than fresh. I still have a 20 long planted tank. What is in your 90? I've always wanted a planted discus tank.

There's a hodgepodge of fish in there right now. Some tetras, some mollies, a giant danio, cory cats, a guppy, and a betta. Here's the most recent pic of it:

My guy could care less about the tanks. He's pretty chill, 14lbs and allows himself to be bossed around by the 5lb chihuahua.
The stairs are his cat tree...

I Think I remember watching an episode of 'My Cat from Hell'. The owner was having aggression issues with her cat while she was conducting a Yoga class, at her home? The resolution to the problem was to give the cat a spot near the owner to feel included with the class, so to speak?

I'm wondering if I put a small to medium cat tree near the tank, they would feel a little less left out?
