CBB vs flame Angel

Looking at getting one of these. Which do you recommend?? And why??

I haven’t put it down to one of my angels yet but just putting it out there :)

What sort of LPS?
An FTS of the tank from any viewing side is the best with these situations :)

Angelfish food. Although, I only know one guy who has a flame angel with those. I think?
@Nate Chalk do you keep trachyphyllia with your flame?

they both are nippers, they may not eat your corals but they pick at the rock, the glass, and all the corals all day long. The soft fleshy corals may take on damage from this. I have a flame angel with acropora and they definitely suffer with lack of polyp extension but they still grow. I wouldn't try this fish with lps although people have been lucky with heavy feeding.

It’s likely you’re risking dinner for both fish. Both are RSWC with corals and both will more than likely go for Trachys and Acans.

It feels like CBB or Angel will not go well with those kinds of coral. I got lucky with my flameback angel. Only a few nipping on duncan and acan but not too serious. Can give it a try if u can risk it all.

I have lobo and tons of euphyllia. Acans too.
