I love mine! I named him Comet. When I added my tangs I noticed he was out and about more. Do you get wild caught or CB?
I have 3… all wild caught… big one is ~8” and at least 25 yrs in captivity, smaller pair (separate tank from big one) are about 6”. There are 12 tangs with the big one and 3 tangs with the pair. They stay hidden!

Tomini is already in there.... However a Pyramid butterfly might be a candidate. Any gotchas with keeping one?
Very peaceful, hardy and does not bother coral

I keep asking you, but just about to place an order, what was the Kleini butterfly feature that I should be getting to truly eat aiptasia?
The one with Blue on the head. All yellow eats them too, but may show interest in zoa and similar polyps

I'm probably going to try to get a pair of the Pyramid Butterflyfish. Seems like they're seasonal - so it'll be a while before I can get them in the tank.. By time I source them, QT them ,etc... or I just get them from Dr. Reef and wait until warm weather for shipping, either way I need to exercise patience.

I'm honestly thinking of picking up a small blue tang, growing it for a few years then finding a suitable tank for it as it outgrows mine. I think if I divide the tank for a bit to let my yellow chill out, I could probably pull it off. Though if I'm dividing the tank for a while, I'm inclined to consider that Gem I'd really like to have.

A puffer or a tusk would require me starting up a FO only tank. I just don't have a good spot for a 6ft + tank and make no mistake, I'd love an 8' FO tank :)

I have the pyramid and it is peaceful but will hold it own. If its FOWLR but you could look into raccoon butterflies (I heard they're one of the worse coral nippers out of butterflies).

What you want is a Regal Angel, A Majestic Angle or a Copper-banded Butterfly. I used to have Majestic angel but I love Regal angels now so no Majestic for me at this time. Many people like Yellow chest Regal, but IMO, the Grey chested are nice too.

Chevron tang or a Harlequin Tusk are perfect Centerpiece fish too. Very outgoing and beautiful. But your tank maybe slightly small for these two fishes.

The Bellus Angelfish is one of the few angelfish displaying sexual dimorphism.
I have a pair that are stunning. Peaceful tank mates and don;t pick at my coral.

Thank you. So the Blue one will stay away from eating most corals, in particular SPS? I have a copper band I just got and can't tell if it's eating Aiptasia. Is the Kleini a sure bet to eat Aiptasia?

Blue head has been reported by some to pic at zoa but rare do i hear that. I has a least likely chance and also does not bother SPS

I had a pair of Watanabei angels. You dont think they are center piece enough? They are so beautiful! I am trying to think of something that will be out and about but I am drawing a blank. Looking at your list I dont see any wrasses I was kind of thinking maybe a Lineatus or Exquisite, but may not be flashy enough.
Great suggestion - both of those wrasse are stunning and no reef aquarium is truly complete without these fun fish

yeah I really cant think of a bigger fish that would fit! I think another tang might tick the rest of them off and you got lots of angels. Butterflies tick me off lol but they are super cool. Triggers eat crabs and clean up crew too
I have a Blue Throat trigger and he’s been a model citizen never touching the CUC. Love the way that he is always out and loves to swim quickly back and forth across the lower front of my 365G.
