Chaeto For The First Time

so i have a sump that doesn't really have room for a refugium but i would like to try chaeto for a little nutrient export. if i add it to my skimmer chamber contained in egg crate will it break apart and make a mess of my system?

For sure bud. I was going to do it on my current system too but then I went and bought a 120 and anot eshopps fuge sump for it lol

i'm all over the place too. i already run gfo but hate my all-in-one reator as it's loud so i've gone from a different reator to a different plan altogether lol. i'm sure i'll have it sorted soon enough.
