Hi everyone I've have multiple nuisance algae's in my tank right now including Bryopsis, Hair Algae, Bubble Algae, Cyanobacteria, and Dino (not as bad as it used to be) my qustion is will a Cheato Reactor or should i just restart my tank

Got any pics? I'd recommend finding the reason behind the nuisance algae. If it's covered u may consider starting over if it's not stocked heavily

If you will run fluconazole in your system, there's a thread on here w/ all the info on where to get it and the procedure, you will not have that bryprosis problem any more. It will not harm your system at all just finished my dose and don't think tank has ever looked any better!

silly question I'm sure but i dont see any powerheads? are you sure your issue isnt just too little flow?
plus 1 on the fluconazole alot of people have had great results with no fuss : ) but without finding the source of the issue it will just return.
As 4 cheato reactors, ive not run one myself but i get the impression from others they can take alot of fidling to get the flow/tumble rate right. have you considered a turf scrubber? it might suit you better.

the bryoprosis had to be brought in on a frag prob. Vibrant would also be good at cleaning up this problem algae but I wouldn't use it continuously I actually tapered it dwn and only use 1 - 2 ml each week now. I knew that vibrant was some strong stuff when it dropped my NO3 by 5 ppm in a little over 3 days.

looks like the sand is deeper in some areas vs. others. Tried some kind of sand sifting goby? I have one and he keeps my sand bed pretty clean. The cyano may be from an imbalance of NO3/PO4 (bacteria die off)?
