chalice id

I bought this red chalice about a year ago it is growing good and more black is showing up

I would just say its a red chalice but the black specks and the black streaks showing up now are making me think it may be something more

here is a pic of when I got it

this was the first black speck,in the updated pic you can see 1/4 the eye is jetblack now.
there are allot more spots now, they start off gray and go jet black

and a pic from today, it is allot brighter red and the darker stripes are grayish turning more black like the spots do, on the outer edge the stripes are already black

maybe all the red chalices have black?

Not all red chalices have black. I have one that does and one that does not. I have also seen a red with yellow eyes. That is a real nice one you have for sure!

when I got it and recovering from a coral falling on it + it was a wild coral. the first pic is after I broke bouut 2"-3" off it all the way around

if the streaks turn black like the spots are, this will be an amazing show piece
