Can I glue a chalice coral down anywhere on its underside skeleton? I want to glue it on a shelf by gluing the back third of it to the rock and letting it overhang. I always just see people gluing them from the middle so can anyone give me some feedback on this?

@fishguy242 ?

I've glued mine from the middle and they grow where they're going to grow but my Hollywood Stunner seems to "break free" from the glue frequently. I've had better luck propping it where I want it and letting it naturally attach to the rock work.

Agree ,never have even tried to glue flesh on chali's, look for dead spot, or like Tim said lodge into scape on a small piece of rock to melt on to.
Stunner ,monti's ,can break fresh frags, but dry and glue on bottom near break edge.
