Chalice?

I bought a small frag from a LFS that I thought was Chalice. I started noticing small polyps and fan like feeders coming out of the 2 eyes. Any ideas?

How about a pic? Chalice do put out sweepers from a polyp looking eye.

I'll post a pic when I get home. They aren't really sweepers. They look like small feather dusters.

I guess thats possible, but the fans really don't look like that. They don't stay out. They are constantly sweeping out and back in.

Could be a barnacle that the coral grew over. I had one under my mummy eye chalice. Forgive the article topic

That diffently looks like the little fans. But it all looks like part of the coral.

its a wild caught piece, many of them come with these barnacles on them.
