Chalices

I recently bought a lemon drop chalice and a stained glass chalice, does anyone know how they grow and where best to place them ? Can they be placed next to each other 4-5 inches apart?
I have them glued to a Belize branch near the back of the tank on the sand bed but I’m not sure how they’ll grow as far as do they plate or encrust or what ?
