For each “Build Thread” I’d like to see:
Single sticky post at top for current status/pics

Updatable by owner to act as kind of a current home page

Then the rest of the build thread goes on as usual
*just because sometimes I want to see status right now without taking time to catch up on the whole story that I’ve missed

I have actually found how to do this.

From what I've read, a post in a thread can be moved to the top of the thread just by modifying the date on the post to be the earliest in the thread.
This forum post has a tool or XenForo plugin that will do exactly what you want.

Regarding whether it will work on this version of XenForo is another question but it would be cool to give folks the option to summarize their build threads or add a table of contents.

We may already have the plugin but it takes time to manually do it for each person. would be cool if it were a button available to the original poster but that requires dev-time...

Not sure anyone saw this... I posted at a weird time. so Bump!

hmmm but at the sametime, I think I see something like this on some people's build threads, just not all.
I know what you’re talking about. I see it on some regular threads as well. The OP follows you even though you scroll through the pages.
