Hello all. Should have posted this thread awhile ago, but didn't get around to it. At the beginning of May I transferred everything from my 29g into my new 30g breeder. I love the shallow look to the tank and I think it makes it look much bigger than it is.

Here's some pics from the last couple months in no particular order.

And here's a video shot a couple days ago.

Plans are in the works for an LED lighting build to go over the tank. Super bright lighting at a fraction of the power, what could be better. I also just got a RKL set up on te tank and I'm loving it already.

Nice pictures. Are you going to DIY your LED lighting?
Yup, getting 52 LEDs and 4 meanwell drivers for them from the group buy that was done on nano-reef. I may drop the number down to 39 though, because 52 now seems a little overkill, but I can use the other 13 over my NC12. Many of us are looking into using the RKL along with an ALC module to dim the drivers. I still need to get my heatsink ordered and begin work on LED placement. I had originally wanted to cut my own heatsink in my machining class, but my teacher kinda f'd that plan up.

Filtration is the live rock and chaeto in my secondary tank. I believe I have a K2 and a K3 in there for flow along with the return pump.

Lighting right now is a 175w mh with 72w pc actinics. I am building an led light fixture with 52 cree leds, 26 cool whites and 26 royal blues. Running the leds with 4 meanwell drivers/power supplies. Also looking into being able to control these with the ALC module on a reefkeeper.

Nice pics and nice setup!

Did Evil send your portion of the group buy yet? I got a few things, myself, and can't wait to get play with them.

Thanks everyone.

I haven't gotten anything from evil yet, but they aren't being shipped to my home address so I may have something waiting for me.

The three stooges. The two big ones were pairing up when I bought them for $20!! The little one is eventually going into my sister's tank.

Frag alley. There's a few zoas straight outta hawaii from aloha corals in there. Gotta get a frag rack built sometime.

Hmm, I must be doing something right. My GBTA split overnight! Hopefully I can coax one onto a smaller rock so it can be traded/sold eventually. Or maybe I'll put it into my sump for the other clowns. Hmm, decisions decisions.

Wow I haven't updated this in a long time. I know have a diy led light hanging over this tank and everything seems to be doing good with it so far. Here's some updated pics.

The colors of the coral under the royal blue leds is absolutely sick. I did my best to show what they look like in person.

Thanks. I need to redo the rock work a little to make the flow from my mp10 work better in the tank. The led light turned out pretty good. I still need to build an acrylic splashguard to cover the leds and wiring.
