Price isn't the only important criteria for selecting a product.

Just ordered a new one from Sicce, their Ultra Zero Utility pump. 3/4" hose thread output, draws to 1/10" depth, 10" max head, 800GPH, top discharge, top cord location, sturdy handle, seems nearly ideal to me. Sicce has an excellent reputation in the aquarium pump world, and it carries a 2 year warranty. $20 off at BRS today :D

Still works! Have never cleaned it either. Just circulates my water change monthly, then pumps it up into the tank.

At $10.99 now, its a steal!
I just ordered. I've been using a used to me and 14 year old pump. The cord was taped in a couple of spots.
