It’s time to finally get my dosing pump or pumps going. I want to dose Kalkwasser for the ph benefit.
usage:
alk- just over 0.3 a day
cal- just over 10 a day
130g of water (120dt and 40b sump)
= 1290 ml of Kalkwasser a day of saturated mix (2tsp a gallon)

plan on dosing into return chamber of sump using either 1 kamoer x1 or 2 if I need to spread it out more than 12 times a day. I might even pick Up the 24 set point Wi-Fi if need be. Would 108 ml at a time be too much or should I run both pumps at 54 mls at a time.

Any input would be appreciated. I’m going to dose the next 2 days to the levels I want, then start the dosing.

Randy, that’s my current daily drop. Alk drops by 0.3 a day ex. 8.5 to 8.2, and my calcium drops 10ppm, 440 to 420 roughly.

kris, mag has so far been able to maintain via water change, but I have another pump and mag on hand when that changes.

The alk numbers look right. I'm using the alk usage, since that's what your dose should be based on. 1.3 Liters of saturated kalk would be a good start.

108 mLs at a time is perfectly fine.

As noted above, I'd dose based on the alk measurement for both calcium and alk unless calcium was getting too high or too low. The calcium drop is not likely accurate enough to base dosing on, and is probably lower (would be closer to 2 ppm per day based on the alk demand).
