What your looking for in LED's is 3w diodes.

Basically take the wattage of the fixture, divide by the number of diodes, and that will give you the wattage of the diodes.

In this instance, for the 36" unit, it has 155LED diodes @ 36W = .23W per diode. Not a very good light.

If this fixture could provide enough light, with 155 diodes it would have at least 465W of power.

Good light for softies - I wouldn't go deeper than 12 inches with it.
