hahaha best advice ever :DDon't take short cuts. Try to enjoy the hobby, which includes that 5ml test tubes. [emoji16][emoji108]
You can monitor many of your parameters with controllers and probes, but not all of them. Temp, pH, Salinity, and ORP are the most common ones. Ammonia and Calcium are less common. An auto Alk checker just hit the market but I believe it is priced upwards of $1200.Is there a piece of equipment out there that can measure all water parameters in my reef tank. Looking for a less time consuming way to stay on track with my water conditions
Yep, I've been testing and dosing for a while now and have everything where I like it. Was getting ready to buy a dosing pump as well. So now I was just looking for some input on some controllers. There are controllers. They will monitor your parameter, and take necessary action to keep your levels in check. However, they're very pricy, and require some common knowledge to use.
My advice would be to first learn what is going on with your tank. Don't take short cuts. Try to enjoy the hobby, which includes that 5ml test tubes. [emoji16][emoji108]
