chemi pure blue

chemi pure was put out in the tank for one week. i did wash it before putting it back in the sump. but my water becomes very cloudy.. waited for 24 hrs and its still cloudy even changing new filter socks and put some water clarifier.
should i change the chemi pure also?

depending on the size of your tank it might take some time. if it doesn't clear-up get a fresh bag and rinse it well in RODI.

Chemi clean did very little for me. Water changes and gfo solving my cyano issues and less coral feeding

Chemipure and ChemiClean are two different products. The Chemipure products are activated carbon (chemipure) mixed with a purigen-like polymer (blue) or GFO (elite).

I know. That is why I said one worked. The other one did not.
